Most people in our society today have a cell phone, or better yet, a smart phone, right? We have the ability to do just about anything at any time with our phones. It is very tempting to multi-task and text while driving, but it can be very dangerous as well.
I won’t bore you with the statistics, but there are so many accidents that are caused by someone texting while driving. There is a bill (SB140) that has been passed by the Nevada Legislature waiting for the Governors’ signature. The bill prohibits cell phone usage without a blue tooth and texting while driving. The first offense is $50, the second $100 and the third $250. It’s clear that eventually it will be the law. It’s now proven that this can cause serious auto accidents and accidents cause your auto insurance premiums to increase.
