Most people in our society today have a cell phone, or better yet, a smart phone, right? We have the ability to do just about anything at any time with our phones. It is very tempting to multi-task and text while driving, but it can be very dangerous as well.

I won’t bore you with the statistics, but there are so many accidents that are caused by someone texting while driving. Whether it is texting or emailing, checking our bank balance, Facebooking, Tweeting, or any of the other thousand things that we can do with our phones now, the bottom line is that it is not safe

There is a bill (SB140) that has been passed by the Nevada Legislature waiting  for the Governors’ signature. The bill prohibits cell phone usage without a blue tooth and texting while driving. The first offense is $50, the second $100 and the third $250. It’s clear that eventually it will be the law. It’s now proven that  this can cause serious auto accidents and accidents cause your auto insurance premiums to increase.
