Original Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance)

Original Medicare (Part A and Part B) helps pay for doctor visits, services and hospital stays, but it doesn’t cover everything and it doesn’t cover prescription drugs.

Many people choose additional coverage to fill in the gaps of Original Medicare.

Medicare Supplement insurance plans (Medigap)- Helps pay some of the out-of-pocket costs that come with Original Medicare.

Medicare prescription drug plans (Part D)- Help pay for medications prescribed by a doctor or other health care professionals.

Medicare Advantage plans (Part C)- Combine Part A, Part B and often prescription drug coverage (Part D).
