WOW!! It is finally that time of year. College football kicks off tonight with our own UNLV Rebels traveling to Minnesota to play the Golden Gophers. I think Minnesota wins this but the Rebels will play hard so I like the Rebels with 14 points.
It will be a very interesting and exciting year for College football. Can Johnny Manziel repeat as the Heisman Trophy winner? Can anybody take the Championship away from Alabama? How good will Ohio State be in their second year with Urban Meyer as coach? Can Nebraska finally step up in the Big 10? It’s gonna be a great year!
Let’s take a look at some key games in the month of September. We have Sept 7th games with Florida traveling to Miami and West Virginia at Oklahoma. Then on September 14th we have UCLA playing at Nebraska and the Huskers get to avenge last years loss at UCLA. Then on September 21st we have Kansas State at Texas. We close out the month with LSU at Georgia. Could Georgia be playing for a National Championship?
The Pros are also going to be very exciting. How will Sam Bradford play for the Rams now that he’ll have some receiver’s to throw to? Will Green Bay stay hot and pick up where they left off? Can Peyton Manning win a Super Bowl with the Denver Broncos? We’re gonna find out because the season kicks off with Baltimore at Denver on Thursday September 5th.
Any thoughts? Who do you think is gonna take it all?
