March Madness is here and you gotta love it. I’ll be glued to my TV set watching all the action. Las Vegas’ own Runnin Rebels will not be at the big show. It’s sad they didn’t even make the NIT. David Rice has his work cut out for him.
How about the Tournament? Will one of the favorites like Florida, Wichita St, Arizona or Virginia win? Will it be a sleeper team like Creighton or Iowa St? This is the beauty of the Tournament, the best teams don’t always win, many times it’s the hottest team.
Who will be the biggest disappointment? Could it be Kansas, Michigan or Duke to go in the first round? There are many things that come into play. There’s road play, Can they win on the road? Then there’s non conference competition. How about location and team history. Is your team used to winning big games? Last but not least is the underdog. Does the team step up or choke in a big game?
I believe Michigan St, Arizona and Louisville can go deep in the Tournament. My Finals picks are Louisville, Arizona, Michigan St and Syracuse. Hey, anything is possible.
Any way you look at it, it’s going to be exciting!! Sports madness never ends. It will be March Madness, the start of baseball season, then the NBA playoffs, and then yes, that’s right, the NFL season.
